Ingredients

Preparation steps

  • 200 gr. wild rice

  • 500 ml pure water

  • 200 ml. coconut milk

  • 3 tbsp. date syrup

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 1/4 tsp. sea salt

  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds

  • 1 large peeled and diced mango

  • 100 gr. blueberries

STEP 1

 

Take 200 gr. of wild rice and wash it under lukewarm water.

 

STEP 2

 

Pour 500 ml pure freshwater into a rice cooker or pot and add 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Then add the washed wild-rice and let it overcook slightly to be really soft.

 

STEP 3 

 

Pour the 200 ml coconut milk into a small pot or pan and stir it with 3 tablespoon of date syrup. Then add one tablespoon of cinnamon powder to it.

STEP 4 

 

Now when the rice is ready then add it to the sweet coconut milk and let it simmer for another 3 minutes.

STEP 5

 

Now serve sticky wild rice on a plate and decorate it with the diced mango pieces and fresh blueberries. On top of this sprinkle 1 tbsp. sesame seeds. Finished!
